Ministry Profile

Freedom Youth exists to honour God by reaching those who don't know Him, connecting them with youth who do, helping them to know God better and discovering how they can honour God with their lives.

Every Friday night, students in grades 7-12 meet at Rob's house (he's our volunteer youth leader) for a relevant small group geared toward finding God in our culture and hooking up with Him to find the destiny that He has designed for us. We have lots of events throughout the year, we always have a great time together.

A note about the paperwork...

As a church, we have adopted the Plan to Protect program designed to keep our youth and leaders safe and the parents & guardians informed.  www.winningkidsinc.ca

Sometimes it seems that we ask for a lot of paperwork, most notably the Waiver and Medical Release Form at the beginning of the program year (or your youth's first time out on a Friday night). We also require an additional form, the Informed Consent Form, for each event that is off-site.  This form ensures that the parents/guardians know all of the risks associated with an event and are comfortable with the activities that their youth is involved in.

We don't necessarily like shuffling paper but we are committed to everyone's safety and open communication between the leadership and the families about everything that we're doing.

Thanks for bearing with us through it all and thanks for so willingly participating in this program.  It makes a huge difference for everyone's protection and safety!
