We value our kids at Freedom and love to invest in them!
Here's what we have going on for the kids during the week.
Babies (Age 0-18 months)
Our nursery is a fun-filled room that is open at the beginning of the service and is staffed by volunteers who are happy to look after your little ones so that you can enjoy the service.
Preschool (Age 18 months-3)
In our Preschool class, our little ones begin to learn about the Bible through stories and crafts. This class is dismissed from the sanctuary about 20 minutes after the service begins.
Elementary (JK-Grade 4)
Our elementary age kids are divided into three groups - JK-SK, Grade 1-2, Grade 3-4. Each class does the same lesson but at an age-appropriate level. These classes are dismissed from the sanctuary about 20 minutes after the service begins.
Elementary (Grade 5-6)
Our older elementary kids follow a different and more challenging curriculum to get them thinking about faith in new and challenging ways. They are in-class half of the time and for the other half they are given opportunities to serve throughout the church as ushers, in the nursery, in the preschool class or doing media in the service. On in-class weeks they are dismissed from the sanctuary about 20 minutes after the service begins.
KidzConnect is the program that Miss Margaret runs for our kids in JK-Grade 6 on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 while the adults are in Connecting Point 1. They dig into scripture and have fun while they do it. Activities include stories, games, crafts and music. Scripture memory is also a key component of KidzConnect. (Grade 6 kids are welcome to come and help out during KidzConnect.
