I wanted to take a moment and use this space to highlight our Sunday Night Service. Perhaps like me, you feel like there is never enough time to be quiet and connect with God in a week. We do our best to carve out time each day but the world is noisy and our minds are busy. So often my heart resonates with Psalm 42:1-2. "As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?"

This is the heart of Sunday Night Service. Before you launch into a new week, before you complete another task, or honour one more obligation, there is space for you to spend time with God. It's quiet, it's simple, and it happens once a month.

I'm excited that Eric Jackson will bring the devotional in addition to our time of worship in song, and personal and guided prayer times. You're invited to carve out some time this weekend to "go and meet with God."
