Summer is here — and there are some great ways to stay connected, serve together, and grow this summer!

Here’s what’s coming up and how you can be part of it:

👋 Name Tag Sunday – Next Sunday!

We’re kicking off summer with Name Tag Sunday and a Potluck BBQ after the service!

We’ll be grilling hot dogs — just bring a side to share, and we’ll have frozen treats for sale to support our mission giving.

It’s a great Sunday to bring a friend and take a moment to meet someone new.

🍭 Tuck Shop Evenings

The Tuck Shop is back for a few evenings this summer — a fun way to serve the neighborhood and enjoy time together. Don’t worry, it’s not every week!

🌿 Garden Team

If you love being outside, consider joining the Garden Team this summer to help keep our grounds looking great. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just want to lend a hand, there’s room for you. Click here to sign up!

We’re almost at the finish line in our series on 1 Thessalonians — this week is the second-last message (I get to use the word penultimate!).

We’ll be in 1 Thessalonians 5:12–15, where Paul gives the church some final encouragement — and it’s super practical.

“Acknowledge those who work hard among you… hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.”

Paul reminds us that the church isn’t meant to copy the status and hierarchy of the culture around us. In the early church, leaders were recognized not for power or position, but for their faithful service.

This Sunday, we’ll talk about what godly leadership really looks like — and how we all play a part in creating a church community that values respect, peace, and mutual care.
