One of the challenging things about life is that you don’t know where you are in the story. You know when you were born, but you don’t know when you’ll die. You might be going through a difficult chapter in your life right now, and you don’t know how many pages of your story this chapter will take up, what page you’re on, or how many pages are left until a new chapter begins. But, as you well know, when you understand how something in your life fits into the bigger picture, it is so helpful. This usually only comes with hindsight; we can look back and see how the chapters are being written… but still, not able to fully understand the one we are in.
While that might be true of your life and of mine, that isn’t true of the story of salvation, the story of how we were created in the image of God, rebelled against Him, and were graciously offered the chance to be reconciled to Him through Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. No, we don’t have a percentage tracker of where we are in the story, but we’ve been given the most incredible gift in the scriptures – a view of the beginning, middle, and end.
I want to invite you to jump into the middle of the story with us this weekend and bring someone with you. The Easter story changed everything, and it even gives meaning and purpose to our stories.
You’re encouraged to head to our website (fredomkw.com/easter) for the details and FAQs. You can share this site with a friend, or download the invitation card and send them a text or email.
We’ve been working hard to put together two meaningful services that will point people to Jesus. We can’t wait to see you there.
He is risen indeed!
