Now that I’ve had a couple of naps, I am fully able to reflect on our beautiful Easter weekend. Working with this team to share Jesus’ death and resurrection with everyone who joined us on Good Friday and Easter Sunday, in person or on Church Online, is one of the great joys of my life. Perhaps my favourite moment (closely rivalled by the Freedom Kids and those amazing monologues) was hearing 23 of you share your testimony of life transformation, what it was like before Jesus, and what it is like now. I had the advantage of editing them together into a video and watching them multiple times, but I loved being in the room when you saw them, too.

Serving Jesus is certainly a laying down of our lives, a full surrender. But there is nothing in this world that compares. I want to invite you to watch the video again and think about who you might share it with. Maybe someone at work has been asking you questions about your faith. Maybe a family member wonders why you prioritize church every Sunday. Maybe you’re trying to explain what it means to follow Jesus to your kids.
